  • Sexual Assault in Indian Country and Beyond

    Mary Annette Pember, an award-winning Indigenous journalist and expert on covering sexual assault, trauma, policy, health and the environment, will advise students and attendees on how to cover sexual assault cases and share expert thoughts on coverage of violence against women. Her keynote address will be followed by a panel of students, Dr. Patty Stokes of WGSS, who has expertise in the prevention and aftermath of sexual assault, and WOUB Editor-In-Chief Allison Hunter.
