Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting survivors, raising awareness, and strengthening our community. By volunteering with the Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program (SAOP), you can help provide critical services, educate the public, and advocate for lasting change.No prior experience is necessary. We provide all required training. Whether you have a few hours a week or can support a single event, your time and effort help make a difference.
- Provide confidential support to survivors via our 24/7 crisis hotline.
- Participate in state-required training before taking calls.
- Help staff resource tables at events, distribute materials, and educate the public.
- Assist with awareness campaigns.
- Help facilitate educational programs.
- Assist with presentations on healthy relationships, consent, and bystander intervention.
- Assist with data entry, organizing materials, and assembling survivor care kits.
- Help coordinate special projects or fundraising initiatives.
- Support fundraising events, donation drives, and awareness initiatives.
