SAOP is required to report abuse that occurs to individuals under the age of 18 to the appropriate social service agencies. Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere

Promotes the empowerment of and equality for Ohio’s diverse Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing communities by offering culturally affirmative advocacy and education, while inspiring community accountability, in response to oppression and relationship and sexual violence.

Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization

BRAVO works to eliminate violence perpetrated on the basis of sexual orientation and/or gender identification, domestic violence, and sexual assault through prevention, education, advocacy, violence documentation, and survivor services, both within and on behalf of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities.

Survivor Advocacy Program

Provides confidential support and advocacy services to currently enrolled Ohio University student survivors of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. We work to increase student survivors' access to support and resources through trauma informed advocacy and empowerment.

The Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program (SAOP) is funded by grants including the Rape Crisis Fund grant and Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding awarded by the Office for Victims of Crime, through the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Victims of federal crimes will be served through SAOP services. We serve all survivors regardless of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, lineage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, ability, sex, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
